The Story Bihind the Brand - interview with SVEA EKONOMI

No matter the experience and desire you possess to create something, you cannot do it on your own. But if you have hard-working and capable people around you, you can achieve anything! The Old Mill project, from its initial phases, has an excellent team in its core, which gives its best to create something practical, yet enjoyable. At the same time, we kept the spirit of Old Mill, which has been both maintaining the old stories and writing the new ones. We are one of them.

New Mill office building is populated by a number of companies from different sectors. Happy tenants and flawless communication between us are of the utmost importance to us. We talked to Svetozar Stojkovic, the founder of SVEA EKONOMI, one of our first tenants, about their business space.

1.    What is the importance of the working space for you? Can the environment influence your productivity?

It is very important. People have to feel at home. Actually they have to consider this place their other home. Environment, both working and every-day surrounding, is very important, and also influences productivity.

2.    Bearing in mind that your offices are mostly open-space, can you tell us why you decided to use this concept?

We are close to each other and this offers a possibility to talk constantly „over the table“. Constant communication is very important, and the open space concept certainly makes the things easier for us.

3.    New Mill is praised for its floor-to-ceiling windows and bright spaces. In your opinion, can illumination influence the atmosphere in working environment?

Lighting is important because of the monitor reflection. We also put UV protected and semipermeable blinds, so that we could fix potential problems.

4.    Do you think that you need to hire a professional for business space design?

We arranged our business space completely on our own with occasional consultations with the contractors.

5.    Is there anything you would like to change?

So far, everything is fine and we have no problems, no need to make any major changes.
